I have been designing gardens in all areas of Sydney, the Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains since graduating from Ryde School of Horticulture (with Honours) in 1985.

From the beginning I have been privileged to work with a number of extremely gifted landscapers and designers. These associations have led to the construction of many beautiful gardens, several of which have received the highest accolades offered by the landscape industry (see Awards).

My design philosophy is a very simple one.

Be sensitive to the needs and interests of the client as well as to the site and surrounding environment.
Consider aesthetics, function, economy and environment.

While offering a high quality service for private residential projects I am also committed to helping schools, preschools, churches and other public organizations to improve their environment, to help make it more attractive, functional and enjoyable for all who use it.

Sustainable Gardens

With changing weather patterns, lower rainfall and water restrictions it is important to make the garden more than just a place of beauty. I take great pleasure in designing gardens that address these issues and give my clients the enjoyment of a garden which can be beautiful without the need for excess water use in these difficult times. If a garden can also be productive with herbs, vegetables and fruit or attractive to wildlife, even better.
