The Process
Design
This is the first stage of a two-step process.
- Visit the site and discuss clients needs and wishes
- Develop a brief based on the above discussions
- Submit a fee proposal
- Site analysis - measure, take levels, photograph
- FIRST PRESENTATION - COLOURED CONCEPT PLAN: Visit client and present ideas on concept plan. Changes and alternatives are discussed
- FINAL PRESENTATION - Presentation of completed plan. This plan is suitable for submission to Council where necessary and to landscapers for quoting and construction
Overseeing Construction
This stage is separate to the design process. It involves working closely with the client and landscaper to see the plan is implemented as designed. Progress and problems are discussed regularly to ensure the best possible result.
- Submit fee proposal (hourly or per visit rate)
- Organize quotes from landscapers
- Be present at initial setout
- Regular visits to completion
