My Services
Services range from an on-site consultation through to drawing a fully scaled plan and may also
include project management through to completion.
Consultation
A consultation in your garden includes:
- Advice, specific to your site
- An A3 sketch of the design showing the placement of garden details such as retaining walls,
paving, pergola etc, as well as plants recommended for the area.
- Advice on suggested next steps, if relevant, such as construction work and planting.
- Advice on recommended landscape contractors, pool builders as required. You may wish
to do some or most of the work yourself.
A two hour on-site consultation costs $330. For extra time beyond the two hours, a charge of $90/hour applies (plus GST).
Please note that as block sizes, topography and clients’ individual requirements vary considerably, some consultations may need to exceed
2 hours.
Below is a consultation checklist to help you prepare for my visit. This may be helpful for you to get your ideas
sorted out before I arrive and it will aid me in carrying out the consultation.
Consultation Checklist
The following items will be helpful but are not essential:
- Plan of the space if it already exists e.g. house plans, site survey. This will help
with accuracy of my advice, drawing and recommendations.
- A wish list of features and needs e.g. pool, barbeque area, washing line, vege garden, water tank etc.
- Images you may have collected which show the effect you might like to achieve.
- Plants that you particularly like and may like included.
- Approximate budget your have for the project.
- Other requirements (possibly council approval)
If you require more detailed services for the planning and construction of your garden,
I will discuss these with you during the consultation and present you with a fee proposal for the extended design work.
Extended services may include:
- More detailed site analysis and appraisal
- Accurate plan of the landscape design, to scale
- Swimming pool design, features and other structural elements
- Documentation e.g. for council or landscape contractor
- Council liaison and approvals
- Project management by myself throughout construction
- Contract administration.
